WHERE DO WE STAND
30"x22" Black card-stock on watercolor paper. [2017]
This series of hand-cut, black-and-white collages are inspired by my nightly walks in and around Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The combined objectivist and surrealist aesthetic of the artwork draws on the design trope of the architectural folly in order to meditate on urban development, violence, surveillance, and the local storefront vernacular.

POLITICAL IMPERMANENCE OF PLACE
9"x12"colored card-stock on watercolor paper. [2016]
This is an ongoing series of 9"x12" pencil  and ink drawings. I consider them to be whimsical inquiries or conversations about development and urban planning, connectivity and organization, and economics and politics.
