“New Lagos, 2081 A.D.”
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Wale Oyejide in order to create a set of illustrated scenes for his Ikire Jones Menswear line. It provided a perfect opportunity to further extend the boundaries of Architectural Representation and my interest in exploring new aesthetic vocabularies, particularly one that would challenge the perception of sci-fi imagery as a uniquely Western endeavor in the public imagination.
This work traveled with the seminal “Making Africa” exhibit from 2015 to 2018 and was shown at the following venues:
